Divorce
If you are going through a divorce, dissolution or annulment, see the bookletPensions and divorce, dissolution or annulment *. If you have nominated your husband, wife or civil partner and the marriage or civil partnership comes to an end (through divorce/dissolution but not separation), the nomination will no longer be valid. You should therefore make a new nomination.
To revoke a nomination, please complete the death benefit revocation form forclassic plus, nuvos, partnership, premium and send it to your pensions administrator.
Partial retirement
The partial retirement calculator will help you understand how partial retirement will affect your income now and when you finally retire.
You need to be aware that your pension could be reduced if you take partial retirement. The leaflet What is abatement? * will tell you more.

Secondment
If you are seconded to an organisation that doesn’t participate in the Civil Service pension arrangements, you must talk to your employer before your secondment starts so that you understand your pension options.
