Francis Maude, Minister for the Cabinet Office and Sir Bob Kerslake, Head of the Civil Service today asked Civil Servants to put forward their suggestions on the practical things that could help them to do their job better by:
- Being innovative and creative – implementing new ideas and taking a positive approach to risk;
- Achieving results – focussing on impact and outcomes, not just process and ticking boxes; and
- Working together – working well with people at different grades, organisations and locations.
Ideas can be submitted on the Tell Us How website – http://tellushow.cabinetoffice.gov.uk and will be published on a regular basis. The ideas will help to shape and inform a Civil Service Reform Plan which will be published later this year.
You can also make sure your voice is heard by sending your views to us directly through the Civil Service Reform inbox at tellushow@cabinet-office.gsi.gov.uk
