If you're keen to adopt a greener lifestyle but are not sure where to start, go along to Defra's Act on CO2 Green Fair for all the information and advice you'll need.
More than 20 organisations will be there to speak to you on a range of subjects including conservation volunteering, sustainable gardening and environmental training courses. An Energy Doctor from the Energy Saving Trust together with experts from Waste Watch and Thames Water will all be on hand to help you make your home greener by reducing energy, recycling more and saving water.
Journey planning is also a good way to reduce your carbon footprint and Transport Direct can show you what's involved. Test your driving skills on the Act on CO2 driving simulator or find out about hiring electric cars from WhizzGo - it's all at the Green Fair!
As an additional bonus, grab a programme on the way in to make sure you're in the running to win an eco-friendly Christmas hamper, an organic vegbox or a water butt.
The Green Fair, open to all Civil Servants, will be held at the Central Hall Westminster on 13/14 December between 11am-3pm. To gain free entry, simply show your security pass.
