Civil Service Awards Shortlist Announced
Civil servants from more than 15 departments and agencies have been named in the shortlist of the Whitehall & Westminster World Civil Service Awards, organised in association with Ernst & Young.
The list, released on Tuesday 23rd September, was selected from more than 700 entries to the awards, now in their third year.
The winners in each of the 13 categories will be chosen by our prestigious judging panel and the winners will be announced on the 26th November at a gala award ceremony at Lancaster House.
The cabinet secretary and head of the home civil service Sir Gus O’Donnell congratulated all those who were shortlisted.
“Choosing a shortlist of just three nominations for each of the 13 categories hasn’t been an easy task for our panel of experts.
“It is a real testament to the civil service that we have so many outstanding people and teams, and these awards are our opportunity to recognise their achievements and to say thank you.
“Being shortlisted is a real achievement and I want to pass on my congratulations to everyone who got through and to thank everyone who entered – their successes and achievements are an inspiration and set standards of excellence for us all.”
