As a student you would provide support to professional economists dealing with a range of issues affecting Government policy.
We offer two types of student internship:
To be eligible for either of these placements, students must be a UK national, Commonwealth citizen, Swiss national, or a member of the European Economic Area (EEA); and, be studying for a degree in economics or, if it is a joint degree, economics must comprise at least 50% of the total course, or doing a Masters degree in economics. Due to the nature of the work, the placements are not open to first year undergraduates. Full information on eligibility criteria is listed in the Application Process and Guidance section. Please note: we cannot access documents submitted via Skydrive.

Please take a look at the list of Departments, where you will find contact details for the relevant person who you could ask about careers and work experience.
