Our Aim

To support the HR Leaders’ Council in building a Civil Service HR profession which enables excellent business performance and drives change across the Civil Service.

We work in partnership with government departments, the Head of Civil Service Capability Group, other professions, and the wider HR community to deliver our aim.

Our Key Work Areas

  • HR Professional Standards and Development – Ensuring that HR professionals have the capability to deliver business priorities.
  • HR Leadership and Talent Management Strategy – identifying, developing and managing HR Talent; and continuing to build a cohesive and effective HR Leadership community
  • HR Performance – Increasing the effectiveness of the HR Function through effective performance improvement and cross-departmental collaboration
  • HR Community and Branding – building one vibrant, engaged Civil Service HR community
