META Advisory Board

The Association has a strong governance structure, overseen by an Advisory Board which meets twice a year.

 Dame Helen Ghosh

Dame Helen Ghosh, DEFRA's Permanent Secretary, chairs the META Advisory Board. She is also a member of the Diversity Delivery Board, Defra's Diversity Champion and a META Growing Talent mentor.

 Paul Jenkins

Paul Jenkins is Her Majesty's Procurator General and Treasury Solicitor. He also holds the office of the Queen's Proctor and is Head of the Government Legal Service, comprising a total of 1900 Government Lawyers.

  David Lammy MP

David Lammy is the Minister of State for Higher Education and Intellectual Property, Department for Business, Innovation & Skills. He is also META's Patron.

  Andrew Ramsay

Andrew Ramsay is the Director General of Partnerships and Programmes at the Deparment for Culture, Media & Sport. He is also a META Growing Talent Mentor.

 Gill Rider

Gill Rider is Head of the Civil Service Capability Group, responsible for the Capability Reviews, and is the Head of Profession for Civil Service HR. She is also a META Growing Talent Mentor.

 Minouche Shafik

Minouche Shafik is the Permanent Secretary for the Department for International Development. She is also a META Growing Talent Mentor.

 Jonathan Stephens

Jonathan Stephens is the Permanent Secretary for the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. He is also a Growing Talent mentor.

 Claudette Sutton

Claudette Sutton is the META Chair & Director of the Growing Talent programme.
