Profile: Sue Richards
Formerly Professor of Public Management at the University of Birmingham, Sue Richards was a civil servant earlier in her career, and has also worked elsewhere in academia and in the private sector. She has performed a number of advisory and governance roles in relation to public service, having been a special adviser to various parliamentary select committees, an Audit Commissioner and a member of the Advisory Board of the Office of Public Services Reform. She has written extensively on public service reform and on management and leadership development.
Sue has edited a new book published by Routledge – Action Learning, Leadership and Organizational Development in Public Services.
