Profile: Sean Lusk

Sean is director of the National School of Government’s strategy and strategic thinking programmes. He has over twenty-five years experience of both policy and operational management in the Civil Service, including twelve years with the Home Office and seven years with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

For the last nine years a senior trainer and consultant with the National School of Government, he has designed and delivered major programmes of training in strategy and policy development, EU negotiating, speechwriting, ministerial and parliamentary briefing and understanding of the UK and EU systems of government.

He has worked on strategy with departments and agencies across government in the UK and has extensive international experience in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
