The Civil Service’s graduate programme, the Fast Stream, recently ran a competition at university campuses to win a tour of No.10 Downing Street. As part of the competition, we asked students to consider if they became the Prime Minister for a day, what three key strategies do they think the Civil Service needs to address? Stephen Aldridge, Head of the Strategy Unit in the Cabinet Office provided us with a list of 10 strategies and suggested a top three.
The lucky winner was Emily Sullivan from Northumbria University.
Emily took her tour of No. 10 Downing Street on Friday 29 May and thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
She commented ‘The tour around No.10 gave me a great insight into the history of Parliament and the building. I found it very interesting and learnt a great deal. Definitely worthwhile and an all round enjoyable trip’.
Well done to Emily.
