As the UK’s largest employer of statisticians, with over 1,000 professional statisticians spread across more than 30 government departments and agencies, we collect, analyse and publish official UK statistics on all aspects of national life. The statistics we produce are reported daily and nationally on TV and radio and in the press.

Fast Stream for Statisticians
As a Fast Stream statistician, you'll be offered a high degree of responsibility at an early stage in your career, coupled with the opportunity to develop administrative, managerial and communications skills. You'll be able to move between departments to widen your experience - and it's not unusual to be promoted within four years.
There are around 40 Fast Stream Statistician vacancies per year, open to graduates with a degree in a numerate discipline (eg psychology, mathematics, economics, geography, sciences, business studies, etc).
