&lt;p&gt;As part of its services the department is responsible for providing access to the records maintained by The National Archives. Under DSD line management you will assist in all aspects of document retrieval, delivery services, replacement and storage management. Document production is carried out via the means of a computerised ordering system.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As part of its services the department is responsible for providing copies from The National Archives&amp;rsquo; holdings and accepting and processing orders for copies from public records. DSD also makes copies of records for internal customers (e.g. The National Archive&amp;rsquo;s website or educational services). Most of the record copying work is carried out using a range of sophisticated digital scanning techniques.&lt;/p&gt;
