Profile: Imogen Wade

Strategic Communication Adviser - Cabinet Office

Imogen is a strategic communication adviser, working to Howell James, the Permanent Secretary for Government Communication at the Cabinet Office. Her role includes providing advice and support on cross-government communication strategies as well as helping drive up standards of professional communication across Government. Imogen is leading the programme to embed an employee engagement approach across the Civil Service.

Prior to joining the public sector, Imogen spent two years as a consultant with the Royal Navy, designing and implementing a customer-centric recruiting strategy. Before that, she gained eight years experience at several Direct Marketing and Customer Relationship Management agencies where she created and led multi-channel communication strategies across a range of sectors.

Imogen in currently completing an MBA via distance learning through Leicester University.
