Ethnicity re-survey
This area includes a revised set of guidance and materials to help departments and agencies survey the ethnicity of their staff, and maximise response rates.
The attached documents include:
- covering notes, with suggested wording to use when surveying new and existing staff
- copies of the monitoring form
- advice on coding responses and how to treat non-respondents
- guidance on how to maximise response rates.
There is also a question and answer briefing document to share with staff, a guideline timetable for the whole process and a short technical paper on how to reconcile the outputs to the Census categories.
