Civil Service in the news
Nominate for the Civil Service Awards and help the Civil Service Benevolent Fund in the process
There is now under a week remaining (deadline 4 July) to send us your nominations for the Whitehall & Westminster World Civil Service Awards 2008 in association with Ernst & Young. Civil servants across the country are once again encouraged to nominate. Send us your examples of success - however big or small - in any of the 12 award categories. For every nomination made, Ernst & Young will donate £1 to the Civil Service Benevolent Fund.
‘Over the last two years these awards have helped us to highlight and celebrate excellent examples of innovation, leadership, operational delivery, transformational government and joined up working,’
says Gus O'Donnell.
‘I'm proud of the many successes the awards have already helped to identify and I encourage you to submit all those projects and initiatives which you've worked hard to deliver and which you should rightly be very proud of. It is important that we continue to celebrate our achievements and I look forward to seeing this year's nominations.’
