Get ready to Stand up to Climate Change
It’s time for a new routine
The 5th June 2008 is World Environment Day. This is a United Nations global celebration that takes place every year on 5 June. This year the theme is encouraging you to get ready for climate change.
There are many ways in which you can get involved in the campaign and ensure you are prepared for the effects of climate change – ranging from making sure you are prepared for flooding through to saving water and helping maintain Britain’s biodiversity.
Once you have made your pledge to one of the choices on the site it will provide you with further information on how you can do your bit, and as a thankyou you can see award winning stand–up comedian Jon Richardson get hot and bothered about living with climate change.
