Civil Service in the news
Gus O’Donnell launches Civil Service Live
Civil Service Live is a three day event that aims to bring together over 5,000 civil servants from across government to share best practice and innovation.
The event from 1 to 3 April will explore how the Civil Service can adapt to become a centre of excellence in knowledge, skills and innovation. The free event is open to civil servants of all grades.
Gus said,
‘I am proud to announce that the Civil Service, National School of Government and Whitehall & Westminster World are working together to produce Civil Service Live, an event that inspires innovation across government through discussions, training and networking.
‘We are bringing together 4,000 - 6,000 civil servants from all government departments and agencies, to inspire each other and be inspired by others, to learn from good practice and share and learn from innovative ideas’.
Learning and development sessions will take place run by the National School of Government. These will be individually tailored and give you the opportunity to learn about a key area of work, share experiences, case-studies and explore new ways of learning.
There will also be an interactive exhibition where the UK's private sector will exchange best practice and innovation with the Civil Service.
Civil Service Live will take place from 1 to 3 April. To book your free place and find out more go to www.civilservicelive.com [External website]
